SimNerv is an interactive CD-ROM simulating the classic experiment on the sciatic nerve of a frog (nerve stimulation and recordings of compound action potentials (CAP). The program offers a completely equipped virtual laboratory in a realistically looking 3D framework on the computer screen. Students can conduct experiments that resemble real life situations.

Summary
SimNerv is an excellent program, which would be ideal for preparing students to perform a real frog experiment. It could also be an effective alternative to the frog experiment providing learning about nerve physiology was the major goal....
